The Comptroller-General, Nigeria Customs Service, Col. Hameed Ali (retd.), has again defied the Senate which asked him to appear before them on Thursday and in uniform of the customs service.
Ali was sighted at the National Assembly Complex in a white traditional attire. He headed straight to the office of the President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki.
He had a brief meeting with Saraki. He appeared briefly at the Senate chambers but was asked to go back.
It was sequel to a motion moved by Senator George Sekibo from Rivers State, which was unanimously carried by the lawmakers.
Ali was asked to return next Wednesday and in the uniform depicting his rank as the DG.
