Kogi APC Holds Stakeholders Meeting Ahead of Saturday National Delegate Congress

Ahead of the Nation Delegate Congress, Kogi State Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has held a stakeholders meeting amdist tight security.

The Stakeholders across the 21 Local Government areas of the state converged for the meeting at the State Party Secretariat in Lokoja.

Among the Party starwaltsthat attended APC stakeholders meeting are the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello,the Deputy Governor, Elder Simon Achuba, the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Mathew Kolawole, Majority Leader, Abdullahi Hussain Bello, the Chief whip,Hon. Victor Adewale Omofaye.

Others are state commissioners, all local government Chairmen, all political office holders and all the other stakeholders of APC across the 21 local government areas.


The leader of the four man delegation for the Kogi State National delegate Congress, Alhaji Ibrahim Dikwa Galadima pledged that he ensure credible congress.

Galadima urged the Party member to conduct themselves properly during the Saturday congress in the state.

The Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello stated that All Progress Congress APC is very strong in Kogi State, stressing that there is no crisis in the Party.

Bello urged the Party  members in diaspora to return home and contribute to development of the State.

He pointed out that when he came on board, PDP had majority in the house, but today it is APC is majority.

Today APC had majority and had the speaker. This is an indication that the Party is doing well in Kogi State.

Earlier the Policemen are seen at strategic locations  and there was road diversion as Murtala Mohammed Road was blocked.
