No fewer than 10 persons have narrowly escaped death in a lone accident that occurred on Ile-Ife/Ilesa highway in Osun State on Thursday.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), spokesperson, Mrs Agnes Ogungbemi who made this known on Thursday said a white Mazda bus, with registration number: GBR 544 XA, lost control due to over speeding.
According to Ogungbemi, the accident occurred around 1.55pm very close to the Nigeria Air Force Base.
She disclosed that eight male adults and two female adults were in the bus.
“Four male adults and two female adults were injured, while the remaining four male adults escaped unhurt.
“The injured victims were taken to Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital (OAUTH) in Ile- Ife,” she said.
Ogungbemi added that the command had handed over the damaged vehicle to the Nigeria Police Force and also ensured that all routes were cleared.
