Two dead bodies have now been recovered from the 18-seater bus, which plunged into Arun River at Ogbere, near Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
The incident, according to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), occurred on Wednesday night.
NEMA has also recovered the mangled bus from the river.
The agency in strong partnership with Ogun State Government, Ijebu-East Local Government Council, Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and police had mobilised local volunteers/divers who know the terrain well to commence recovery of the victims on Thursday when the recovery exercise began.
NEMA Information Officer in the South-west, Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye, told WESTERN POST on Thursday night that the recovery operation had been completed.
