The Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has named three gubernatorial aspirants as those that have indicated interest in contesting for its ticket for this year’s election.
They are former Senator representing Osun East senatorial district, Senator Iyiola Omisore; former Minister of Youth and Intergovernmental Affairs, Chief Akinlabi Olasunkanmi, and former House of Representatives member, Hon. Wole Oke.
The party said only the three are standing as aspirants of the party, having collected and paid the non-refundable nomination fee of N5million each and having returned their nomination forms.
Former secretary to the state government, Alhaji Fatai Akinbade, who was contesting on PDP platform has moved over to the Labour Party.
