Following the emergence of 27-years-old Muftau Alabi Bakare a.k.a. ‘Senior Prefect’ in the last edition of Bull Fuji Talent Hunt sponsored by the Intercontinental Distillers Limited (IDL), makers of Bull Dry Gin and Bull Dark Rum, the organisation has again concluded plans this year to organize another edition of the programme tagged ‘Bull Fuji Talent Hunt Season 4.’
This was disclosed by the organizers of the Fuji talent hunt at a media briefing held recently at Jogor Centre, Liberty Road, Ibadan, Oyo State. According to the Chief Operating Officer, Kingsize Entertainment, Mr. Lanre Alabi, the 4th audition of the hunt, which is expected to kick-off on Friday April 1, at KS Motel, Total Garden, Ibadan will hold in four states from the South-west namely Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ogun as well as Kwara State in the North-central.
He further explained that as usual, the zonal competitions would produce two representatives each (a winner and first runner-up), while 12 finalists would slug it out at, adding that all zonal shows and the grand finale will be afternoon concerts. Speaking further, he noted that the winner of the grand finale would get N300,000, a recording contract and Bull Brand Ambassador for one-year and a keyboard.
“The first runner-up will go home with N200,000, a keyboard and Bull drinks; while the second runner-up (third place position) will get N100,000, a saxophone and Bull brand drinks. Also, there will be consolation prizes for the remaining nine contestants.” Alabi disclosed that, “Bull Fuji Talent Hunt has become household name among upcoming and established fuji artistes because it is a trailblazer among other talent hunts. “We introduce new idea and creativity, thus creating excitement around the Bull brands, Fuji talents and in cities where we go yearly,” he said.
“The two discovered budding Fuji artistes during Season 1 and 2, Nurudeen Atanda aka Antenna and Idriss Akanbi (Aloma) are doing well in the music industry, since they came on board via Bull Fuji Talent Hunt competitions. “They are non-push-overs, as the duo have proved that Bull Fuji Talent Hunt, is a platform to showcase talent, discovered talent, and bring them into limelight.” Bull Fuji Talent Hunt, which is a platform for upcoming and untapped fuji talents, to showcase their musical skills and packaged by Kingsize Entertainment, has produced Nurudeen Atanda a.k.a. Antenna and Idriss Akanbi a.k.a Aloma in Seasons 1 and 2. It was followed by Muftau Alabi Bakare a.k.a. “Senior Prefect” in the last edition (season 3).
The idea of organising the 4th edition of Fuji Talent Hunt was borne out of the successes recorded in the past three editions of the event. The media briefing was graced by the IDL’s Head of Marketing, Mr. Mobolaji Alalade; Brand Manager (Bull Brands) Mr. Zekeri Dokpesi; Sales Operations Manager (West 2) Mr. Kunle Sereki and Sales Operations Manager (West 1) Mr. Isaac Agbana.
