Former Minister of State, Senator Iyabo Anisulowo, has rejoined her family after her abduction for seven days by some unknown gunmen.
“It is a wonderful experience to be back home after going through excruciating and unexpected experience,” she said in an interview with Channels Television.
She said her abductors waylaid her vehicle, threw out the other occupants of the car and joined the vehicle and after a point they parked the car and took her on a bike towards Ayetoro.
“On the way to where she was being taken on the bike, she fell down so many times. On one occasion, the silencer of the bike burnt her and was prevented from crying. It was tough,” she said.
She said her abductors initially demanded for N100million and that she was taken through there camps.
“I did n’t eat. I was fasting. I told my abductors I needed 2 bottles of water, which I was sipping. I was trusting in God to effect my release,” she said.
Mrs. Anisulowo was abducted last week Wednesday on her way to her farm in Yewa North Local Government.
She was released by the police during which two other members of the gang were also arrested.
