Three abducted students of the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi (FUAM), in Benue State have been released by their captors.
Spokesperson of the Benue State Police Command, Catherine Anene, confirmed that the students regained freedom on Tuesday night unhurt.
While addressing newsmen on Wednesday in Makurdi, the state capital, Anene said no ransom was paid for their release.
She added that investigation into the matter is still continuing.
Also, Waku Rosemary, the Director of Information, Protocol and Public Relations of FUAM, confirmed the release of the students.
The three students were kidnapped on the campus on Saturday night.
