Three Chinese expatriates abducted last week from a gold mining site in Osun State have regained their freedom.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the release of the three expatriates.
She said, “We have rescued the three Chinese expatriates abducted in Ifewara.”
The Chinese were abducted last week Monday at Akere Village in Ifewara after a disagreement with the local labourers at the mining site.
It was gathered that a police escort attached to them was killed.
