Easter: Oyo Speaker Calls for Sober Reflection

The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Olagunju Ojo has enjoined Christians in the State and the country in general to use the Easter  season to reflect into their lives and make necessary correction for a better living.

Hon. Ojo made the submission in his Easter message to people of the state in ibadan, just as he expressed deep appreciation  to God for the opportunity to celebrate another easter at a time the state and the country as a whole just recorded  successful elections despite various challenges.
While describing easter as a season in which Christians mark the death and ressurection of Jesus Christ, he pointed out that the season represents the triumph of good over evil and life over death.
Honourable Ojo  called on the people to use the opportunity of the season to deeply reflect on how to imbibe the profound teachings of Jesus Christ with renewes vigour by showing love, forgiveness, compassion and renewed hope in the  grace of God.
The Speaker added that the sate Assembly would not relent in making laws that would improve the lots of the people till the end of this administration, just as he prayed for a peaceful transition to the next administration in the state and the country as a whole.
