Two lives were on Tuesday lost to separate accidents which happened at various locations of the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.
While the first multiple accident, involving three vehicles, happened at the Danko filling station on the expressway, the other loan accident occurred at the Redeemed axis of the road.
It was gathered that the vehicles included one Toyota Avensis car with registration number, AKD 444 EM; a red coloured Nissan Pathfinder SUV marked, LSP 836 DL and an ash coloured MAZDA car with registration number LSD 822 BR, were involved in the accident.
The three vehicles, it was further gathered, were enroute Lagos from Ibadan axis when the incident happened.
The Ogun State Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Clement Oladele who confirmed the accident blamed in on overspeeding.
Oladele said four person including one male and three females were left injured in the accident and taken to Idera Hospital in Sagamu, for medical attention.
The Commander said the remains of the deceased, a female, had been deposited at the morgue of Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital.
In a related development, one life was also lost to a lone accident at the Redeemed Church of God axis of the expressway while five other persons were injured.
The Public Relations Officer of Ogun State Traffic Compliance Agency (TRACE), Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed the incident.
According to Akinbiyi, the 14 seater Toyota HIACE bus, with registration number, DRZ 360 XA was heading to Lagos from Kano when it hit a faulty crane by roadside.
The TRACE PRO explained that men of the FRSC took the remains of the deceases to the morgue of Fakoya hospital while the vehicle was towed to Mowe Police Station.
