As Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State marks 100 days in office, the Chief Whip of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Hakeem Adshina Adedibu, has charged the governor to focus on youth employment and even infrastructural development across the state.
Hon. Adedibu stated this while speaking with journalists in his office, Secretariat , Ibadan.
The lawmaker who represents Iwajowa state constituency lauded the governor for his strides in the last three months in various sectors such as agriculture, infrastructural development, health and others.
“We appeal to the Governor to focus on youth employment. We have a lot of youth unemployment. Let him also focus on contruction of road network. Let there be an even development across the state. The whole state budget should not be spent on the city alone”, the Accounting graduate said.
According to him, the governor has fufilled his promise of prompt payment of workers salary in the state and has launched partnership on
agric business with some firms to develop the agric sector.
“He has equally started work on the Adeoyo hospital in commemoration of his hundred days in office among other infrastructural development
“On my part on assumption, I have started providing succor to my people since i assumed office. I have constructed two bore holes for them one in sobaloju in Iganna and Ofe Ogun with generator to power them. I have organised coaching for students and I am working to resuscitate the NECO/GCE centre in my area. I have many other projects in commemoration of my hundred days in office
