The Chief Executive Officer of  Aerofield Homes Limited, Mr. Armstrong Temitope Akintunde has dedicated award excellence received from the federated chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) to God Almighty.

The awards excellence was bestowed on him as part of his contributions to youth and community development as well as his invaluable contributions to developing the housing sector in the country.

The Abu-Sattar Ahmed led leadership of the union said that Akintunde, a graduate of Agronomy from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) who is now making waves in the real sector, remains a shining example of typical Nigerian youth that is versatile, industrious, creative and would dare the odds to succeed.

Described as Apostle of decent housing for all Nigerians, the real estate magnate from Iperu Remo was said to have been involved in the construction of several multi-million naira housing projects and he is said to always share the strong belief that the daunting housing challenge in the country could become history if government partners with proven estate developers.

Akintunde who was represented by Mr. Tunde Ojuri at the event was later presented with the prestigious Award of Excellence, Ogun NUJ by State Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Alhaji Hameed Abodunrin.

Speaking after bagging the award, Akintunde said “I am really speechless, to say I appreciate this priceless award is an understatement, it is just an awesome time to cap this year with this awesome reward.

“I had thought this year  will only be about Covid-19 pandemic and #EndSARS but this is something to be cheerful about, it aptly describes the saying “all is well that ended well”.

“It’s often said that reward for hardwork is more work, so with this award, you have just made me to understand that people are taking note of our efforts here and there and I want to assure you that we shall do much more in the coming year 2021 and beyond.

“I thank the Federated Chapel of Ogun NUJ once again and sincerely wish everyone a memorable Christmas and Happy New Year.”
