Tragedy struck within the Yoruba community early Saturday morning as Afenifere spokesman Yinka Odumakin died, WESTERN POST can report.
Comrade Odumakin died of suspected complications from COVID-19.
Odumakin had been sick for a while and had some underlying ailment when coronavirus hit him.
But sources said he recovered from COVID-19 before he suddenly developed respiratory problems.
The development has depleted the rank of Yoruba intelligentsia and his death is a major blow to the Afenifere.
Afenifere leaders were too shocked to speak on the tragedy this morning
