Most of the commissioners in Ekiti State have handed over to their Permanent Secretaries after Governor Ayodele Fayose suddenly dissolved his cabinet.
Like his friend and counterpart in Rivers, Governor Nyesom Wike, Fayose had on Friday directed the immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council.
The commissioners who did not see the dissolution coming were flustered.
A statement by his Special Assistant, Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, had said: “All the former Commissioners are directed to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries of their respective ministeries.
“The governor thanked the former commissioners for their service to the State and wished them well in their future endeavours.”
