Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has again disappointed the people of Ondo State over his failure to attend a stakeholders meeting with the ex Niger Delta agitators and commissioning of projects of the outgoing Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko.
Osinbajo who was earlier billed to visit the State last week Friday was already airborne when the weather became extreme bad to land.
To this end, the visit was rescheduled for Monday but unfortunately, the bad weather persisted, making the Acting President to cancel the trip completely.
In a message sent last night by his Media Aide, Mr. Laolu Akande said that Osinbajo has sent his apologies to the people of the state.
“Weather conditions again prevents Ag. President Yemi Osinbajo’s scheduled visit to Akure today. Sincere apologies to the government and people of Ondo State”, the statement simply stated.
