IT has emerged that the woman who died on Tuesday morning in the Agidingbi, Lagos shanty collapse, whose name has been given as Mrs. Faisa Mohammed, only got married ten days ago before the unfortunate tragedy.
Mrs. Mohammed was recovered dead at the mudslides-induced shanty collapse at Dosunmu Bus Stop in Agidingbi, Lagos.
WESTERN POST learnt that Faisa Mohammed lived with her newly-wedded husband along with her mother in the shanty.
The Lagos State Commissioner for Environment has asked the squatters to leave the area as shanty structures across Lagos State would be demolished soon.
Also on Monday night around 11 pm, a mosque partially collapsed at Ogudu area of Lagos but no life was lost. The mosque is located at No 3, Adepitan Street, off Ramat Crescent in Ogudu.
Meanwhile, response agencies are at present being mobilised to site of the Agidigbi shanty collapse for rescue efforts on Dosunmu Street, off Amara Olu Road, Agidingbi.
