The chairman, Ibadan North Local Government Area of Oyo State, Honorable Adeniyi Akanbi, has commended the state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for his tremendous achievement since his assumption of office a year ago.
He gave the commendation in an interview with journalists in his office while commenting on the governor’s achievements in the last one year in office.
Honorable Akanbi described the governor as a man of the people who has discharged his duty with the fear of God irrespective of party affairs.
According to him, the governor needed to intensify effort at tarring roads in some communities in Ibadan, to make the area look beautiful and modern.
He further admonished the governor to assist with funds in repairing the bad roads leading to some of the communities.
He also said “I understand that there is now a new water corporation chairman in the state and I want to use this medium to appeal to the government to improve on those areas that lack water supply. That will also be good to the people of the state.”
The council boss, also urged the people of the state to be patient with the governor, while he assured them that the present administration will do everything possible to put smiles on their face.
