Legal fireworks resumed on Monday morning at an Ondo State High Court in Akure over the case involving the founder of Sotitobire Miracle Center, Prophet Alfa Babatunde, and six others.
Prophet Babatunde is facing trial over the disappearance of one-year-old baby, Gold Kolawole, in his Church last year.
While entering the court, the prophet and six others alleged to have been involved in the case were made to wash their hands before being allowed to enter the court as a precautionary measure against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Journalists were not allowed into the court premises and the church members were chased away on the order of the Chief Judge, Justice Akeredolu, so as to prevent overcrowding and the spread of the virus.
But they all milled around waiting for the outcome of the sitting.
