The Obong Iberedem Akwa Ibom in Oyo State, Edidem Etim Bassey Akanyak (ARSM), has described the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde as God’s divine intervention to rescue the poor masses of the state from obscurity to limelight.
The Obong in a statement commemorating the second year anniversary of Governor Makinde in office, said the people of the state have continued to heave a sigh of relief through prompt payment of salaries, good roads, prompt delivery of dividends of democracy, and other laudable projects executed since the governor assumed office in May 2019.
Edidem Akanyak who expressed total confidence and satisfaction in the administration of Engr. Makinde said the governor has done so much to surpass the doubt of some parties and people.
While appreciating the people of the state for their understanding, support and enabling environment given to the governor to thrive, the monarch also solicited for more of their cooperation to enable the governor to deliver more dividends of democracy to them before the end of his first term.
The monarch prayed God to continue to guide and lead him in the right path in order to take the state to a glorious height.
