Senator Tayọ Alasoadura has urged the youths of the Niger Delta to be calm that all their grievances would be looked into.
Alasoadura who was moved from the Labour and Employment Ministry to Niger Delta affairs in a chat with WESTERN POST through his Media aide, Dayo Joseph on Wednesday, said all abandoned projects in the Niger Delta states shall be completed without further delay.
However, his media aide in a phone chat with our correspondent said the Minister assured the good people of the region that better days are ahead and vowed to deliver federal government democracy promises.
On the way forward towards having a dependable and virile Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), he said enough fund shall be made available to cater for states which will end the era of scarcity and uncompleted projects.
It would be recalled that, Alasoadura was the Senate Chairman on Petroleum Upstream. He was moved from Labour and Employment Ministry to Minister Of State for Niger Delta by President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday.
