Family Vows To Unmask Killers Of Godfrey, Aide To APC Chairmanship Aspirant

The death of late Godfrey Tony Ifeanyi Etunmuse, a staunch member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ijede LCDA of Lagos State, has taken a new twist as family and friends of the deceased seek for justice.

It was gathered that the family of late Godfrey are ready for a showdown with everyone involved in the alleged killing. The family said they would ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book no matter how highly placed they are.

Sources revealed that some childhood friends of late Godfrey had gathered evidences that would assist in exposing the killers of their friend.

The sources said that the friends believe that exposing them alone won’t solve the problem but allowing the rule of law to prevail on everybody involved will be necessary.

“As things are, numerous NGOs, churches, individuals, groups especially those with international links are all keenly monitoring the politics involved in the whole investigation as it concerns the killing of Godfrey. Some high profile lawyers are also monitoring the activities of all the those allegedly involved and likely cover ups.

“A lawyer, Barrister Eromosele from Edo State and his partners have all promised to work free to ensure that the death of late Godfrey is not treated like one of those deaths.

“We will unravel the mysteries behind his death and bring everybody involved to book. There’s no amount of cover up from high places not minding the profiles of those involved that will close this case. This will be followed up to the last point and ensure that those involved are properly arranged”, said the sources.

“The late Godfrey was killed prior to the APC chairmanship primaries election in Ijede LCDA where he worked and lived before his death.

“He was one of the staunch supporters of an aspirant, Hon. Oluwatosin Onamade.

“We will push hard and expose those involved in the death of Godfrey Tony Ifeanyi Etunmuse.

“We will ensure that they are exposed and justice prevail. This will serve as deterrent to criminal-minded people in the society,” said Collins Ogu, one of the childhood friends of the deceased.
