Mr. Ogunsanwo, who headed the agency since September 2015, was unceremoniously kicked out the agency following a discovery that he had allegedly fiddled with the agency’s N4.2 billion.

Subair has over 34 years of working experience. He started with Price WaterHouse Chartered Accountants before venturing into private practice in 1987 with the Hamzat Subair and Co. Chartered Accountants, where he served as Managing Partner.

He had also worked as the pioneer director of the Lagos State Lotteries Board and various international agencies such as the International Finance Corporation (IFC)

Ambode said Subair’s presentation to the House of Assembly for confirmation was in conformity with Section 2 of the Lagos State Revenue Administration Law (2006).

In a related development, Governor Ambode approved the appointment of Abiodun Dabiri as the Managing Director of the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA).

Dabiri, born on January 2, 1964, holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s Degree in civil engineering from the University of Lagos.

He is a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), a corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPSMN).
