Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, will on Tuesday, December 15, host the annual Town Hall Meeting on Security being put together by the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF).
In a statement signed by the Executive Secretary of the LSSTF, Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun, the meeting will be the first under the present administration and the ninth in the series. The meeting will afford Governor Ambode opportunity to render account of the Trust Fund, present the audit report and solicit for more donations to the Fund, in compliance with its duty of accounting to the public on its activities.
Balogun said the Town Hall meeting will also provide an avenue for the Governor to share his ideas on security and get feedback from decision-makers and stakeholders, while the Commissioner of Police will present the security report of the state to the public.
Other activities at the meeting will include the recognition of outstanding security operatives and what is expected of them.
