Amotekun Arrests 13 Suspected Cultists in Osun

No fewer than 13 suspected cultists were arrested on Wednesday by men of the South-West Security Network codenamed Amotekun Corps, Osun State.
The suspects were said to have been causing unrest in Osogbo, the State capital.
The Field Commander of Amotekun Corps in the State of Osun, Comrade Amitolu Shittu, who disclosed this to journalists in Osogbo said the suspected cultists were caught at different locations in Osogbo.
Found in their possession were dangerous weapons such as axes, guns, charms.
Shittu disclosed that they have been handed over to appropriate security agencies for comprehensive investigation and prosecution.
Two rivalry cult groups Aiye and Eiye confraternity had on Monday  at different locations in Osogbo, area like, Idi-Omo, Oke-baale, Isale-osun, Oja-Oba were said to have engaged in a bloody clash.
Shittu further stated that the Security Network swang into 24hrs patrol across the nook and cranny of the state capital which then led to the arrest of the hoodlums.
“We started 24hrs patrol when there was an upsurge in criminal activities in the state capital on Monday, and we were able to apprehend some of them.”
