The foremost legal icon and one of the aggrieved party members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Dr Tunji Abayomi, who participated and believed to have won the last Senatorial primary elections of the Ondo North Senatorial Districts, has threatened to dump the party in no distance time, if the National Working Committee (NWC) Of the ruling party fails to retrace their steps on the imposition done on him, by given his mandate to Senator Ajayi Borroface, who was believed to be the anointed candidate of the National Chairman of the party.

Abayomi, a close ally of the National leader of APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, said, this while addressing journalists in Akure, the Ondo State capital, on Monday.
He lamented that all the requirements needed and requested were made available to the party in Abuja, bought forms, submitted it and went through screening in Abuja at the party secretariat, but said he was later substituted for Boroffice, who never participated in the primary election process.
Dr Abayomi said a court case has been instituted against the dastardly act of the National Chairman.
According to him, “The national working committee has done wrong against the constitution of the party, which says a candidate must have gone through the primary election process before participating in the general election, but Senator Ajayi Borrofice did not.”
However, facts emerged that, Abayomi, may dump the ruling party for Action Alliance (AA) to actualise his dream and to reclaim the stolen mandate snatched from him and the people of Ondo North Senatorial district.
He therefore said that, nothing is stopping him from leaving the party anytime the need calls for it.
He blamed the National Chairman, Mr Adams Oshiomhole for the crisis that have engulfed the party in recent time, mostly the primaries.
Meanwhile, Dr Abayomi, had earlier in October, called for the suspension and resignation of Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of the party.
