The All Progressives Congress (APC), Ondo State Chapter on Friday expelled two governorship aspirants on its platform over anti-party activities.
They are Mrs. Jumoke Anifowose-Ajasin and Dr Nath Adojutelegan who dragged the party and Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to court over the outcome of the 2020 governorship primary.
The party said the decision is in line with Article 21 of the APC Constitution.
Addressing a news conference in Akure, the state Spokesman of the party, Mr Alex Kalejaye said the wards of both Mrs Anifowoshe and Dr Adojutelegan had also suspended and subsequently expelled the two former governorship aspirants in Owo and Akoko Northwest local government areas of the state.
