All Progressive Congress (APC) leader from 14 at Imala/Idi Emi Hon. Timothy Timolak in Ogun state has used thugs to stop membership registration over the failure to emerged as the party’s chairman in Abeokuta North Local Government.
Western Post gathered that Hon. Timolak was one of the aspirants jostling for the seat of chairmanship in Abeokuta North Local Government.
Akindele and his group lost out when their candidate was not inaugurated as party Chairman of the local government.
His group rented office at Ago Ika while Ogun APC leadership recognized Akeem Sobayo as party Chairman in Abeokuta North Local government.
Timolak as he’s popularly called vowed that they won’t recognize Akeem Sobayo as the chairman and promised to do everything within his power to ruin him.
As the registration exercise started, Timi paid some thugs to disrupt the exercise. It was the intervention of DPO of Imala police station that saved the scenario, as the registration materials were kept with the police.
As at the time of filing this report, our correspondent gathered that none of the APC has been registered as members in Imala.
