As the congress of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) approaches with ward congresses on Saturday, the party National Vice Chairman South West, Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja has urged party faithful to approach all political aspirations and programmes with love, peace and unity.
Arapaja In a press statement signed by his special assistant on Media and publicity Bamitale Ibrahim and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, said losing and winning are the only outcome in a democratic setting during political context or competition, and the PDP being the most viable democratic party in Africa which always give level playing ground for all members will once again go by its core values and standard.
He said, “I will implore and encourage all members of our party to be law-abiding and work in the most democratic way which no doubt have become our trademark since 1999.
“I want to also use this opportunity to encourage everyone to avoid any form of vices that have a tendency of causing mayhem in the party and country at large.”
He further stressed that the ward being the root of everyone in politics, he would encourage members to do their best to sustain the good legacy of the party”
He also wished members of the party a hitch-free Congress across the zone and in Nigeria at Large.
