Aregbesola Approves Appointment of New Asaoni of Ora-Igbomina


Osun State Governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, has approved the appointment of a new Asaoni of Oora-Iigbomina in Ifedayo Local Government Area of the state. He is Prince Joshua Tinuoye Atolagbe, a former Surveyor-General of Lagos State.

Prince Atolagbe who hails from the Oduminrinkale Ruling House of the Asaoni royal dynasty is a registered Surveyor.

A letter conveying the approval of the state Government signed by Mr. Adewale Fayoyiwa on behalf of the Permanent Secretary, Osun State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs was received by
the Executive Secretary, Ifedayo Local Government Area, Prince Kunle Ayantoye.

According to the notice of approval, the appointment of Atolagbe as the Asaoni of Oora-Igbomina took effect from 26th June, 2015.

The notice also stipulates that the approval was in accordance to Section 20(1)cap 25 of the Chief Laws of Osun State.
