AREGBESOLA TO LEAD OSUN EXCO TO IBADAN FOR 3SC/PRIME TIE

Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola will be in Ibadan on Saturday to give support to Prime Football Club as they play host to Shooting Stars Sports Club in the Week 6 tie of the Nigeria National League.
Aregbesola, will lead members of the state executive council to the Adamasingba Stadium to cheer Prime to victory against his childhood team, 3SC, in the ‘Two Brothers Derby’ on Saturday evening.
A statement from Prime management made available to newsmen by the club spokesman Tunde Shamsudeen stated that the governor had directed all political officeholders in the state to move en mass to Adamasingba Stadium on Saturday to catch a glimpse of the oriental derby.
“Governor Aregbesola has identified with Prime once again as he will be present for our Saturday’s away game against Shooting Stars.”
“Prime and Shooting Stars are the darling teams of His Excellency and he will be in Ibadan with his executive members to catch a glimpse of the match,” he said.
Governor Aregbesola also expressed his faith in the Omoluabi Giants, believing that the club would secure one of the promotion tickets to the Globacom Premier League.
“The governor is happy with the team performance in recent weeks and he has urged the team to keep the momentum and make sure Prime secure promotion to the Globacom Premier League, so that the state can have a Premier League side next season.”
The sports loving governor has been a staunch supporter of the Oluyole Warriors since he was a teenager and he is now the financier of Prime FC.
Prime are currently topping the Nigeria National League Division B table log with 10 points, while 3SC has 7 points.
