All Progressives Congress National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday met with officials of the National Union of Road Transport Workers in Lagos and told them not to fight their Igbo brothers over Saturday’s governorship election.

He said he was displeased about reports of what happened in Okota area of Lagos in the February 23 Presidential and National Assembly elections where ballot box was snatched and votes burnt.

At the meeting held within the premises of his Bourdillon, Ikoyi residence, Asiwaju Tinubu also said the NURTW men should not engage in ballot box snatching or prevent people from casting their votes.

“Resolve the problem within your ranks and leave politics for politicians to play,” he said.

While pleading with the NURTW men to eschew violence, he urged them to go and resolve the crisis within their organisation.

Present at the meeting with the APC leader were the Chairman of the union in Lagos, Alhaji Tajudeen Agbede, the state Treasurer and Oshodi NURTW boss, Musiliu Akinsanya alias MC Oluomo, former state Chairman, Alhaji Rafiu Olorunwa, among others.
