…As Adeyemi vows to Work Against APC if They Deny him Ticket

Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu has lauded the developmental strides of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, saying that governor has done well in the area of Agriculture.
Governor Bagudu who made this commendation while speaking at APC critical Stakeholders meeting at the Party Secretariat in Lokoja, Kogi State capital on Thursday.
He said the two state are almost at par in the area of rice production.
Also speaking at meeting ,the two terms Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Smart Adeyemi has how threatened to work against his party, All Progressives Congress (APC) if the incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello is denied ticket to return for a second term as Kogi State Governor.
Senator Adeyemi made the remarks at a stakeholders forum held at the party’s Secretariat in Lokoja.
Senator Adeyemi told the delegation from the Progressive Governors Forum which included the Kebbi State.
Governor, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu, Yobe State Governor, Alhaji Maimala Buni as well as the immediate past Governor of Bauch State, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar who attended the forum that they should take the message back to the National Secretariat of APC that they should give the party’s ticket to Governor Bello for continuity.
“We in Kogi State have seen a young, vibrant, detribalised personality in Governor Bello and we have unanimously resolved to work for his reelection come November 16”, he said.
According to him,”We believe in him, he has treated us fairly,he gave everyone equal opportunity to everyone to develop and participate in the governance in the state.”
Meanwhile the factional Chairman of APC in the state, Alhaji Hady Ametuo has collapsed the former state executive committee member into the present exco led by Alhaji Abdulahi Bello and loyal to the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
Ametuo who spoke at the stakeholders forum said that, “For three and half year I, together with members of my excos have been fighting my brother, the Governor, and if now we decide to bury our differences, what is the problem?”
According to him, “I worked hard to build this party, I worked hard for this party to win the state, I cannot open my eyes and allow PDP to win the state in the next election.”
He said that himself and all members of his former cabinet will work to ensure victory for the party in November.
