A rival group has sprung up to confront #The Bring Back Our Girls group agitating for the return of the over 200 girls abducted from their dormitory in Chibok, Borno State in April 2014.
The girls were abducted by the Boko Haram sect and former President Goodluck Jonathan’s regime could not secure their release before President Buhari took over.
The rival group, allegedly sponsored by some in government, is asking the #BBOG to leave President Muhammadu Buhari alone to address the nation’s problems.
The #BBOG group led by former Minister of Education, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, were again prevented from marching to the Presidential Villa to demand for a meeting with the president on the matter.
By the time the #BBOG group got to the last barricade point on the way to Aso Rock, they met the rival group already at that point.
The rival group were wielding placards calling on the #BBOG group to allow President Buhari to work for the country.
