The Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has inspected ongoing construction of the Prince Court Estate, Abeokuta, in line with his administration’s social welfare outlook.
The Governor, who disclosed that 130 units of the affordable housing project would be ready by the end of the week, stated that the first phase of the total three phases would eventually deliver 150 units.
He regretted that the project has been slowed down by the COVID-19 pandemic, but the Governor pledged that such a scheme would be executed in other cities within the State, including Ilaro, Ijebu-Ode, Sagamu, Ota and Ibafo.
The Governor, who stressed that as a means of employing local labour, his Administration did not award the contract to any company, disclosed that workers who worked with the State Ministry of Housing were employed through direct labour.
Prince Court Estate sets a record today, as one of the many affordable housing projects still to be embarked upon by the Dapo Abiodun Administration.
According to Honourable Commissioner for Housing Jagunmolu Akande Omoniyi encourage the interested and qualified people to access the opportunity offered by the Dapo Abiodun lead administration in the state.
