Armed robbers have attacked some commercial banks in Owo, Ondo State.
The robbers set one of the commercial banks in the ancient town (names withheld) on fire.
The attack is another in the wave of incessant armed robbery attacks that have rocked banks in the state, forcing some of the banks to relocate from the state.
A similar attack occurred in Akure, the state capital, in June during which the robbers carted away huge amounts. The robbers operated non-stop for about an hour, leaving some people dead including a nine-year old boy who was just returning from school.
