Its official! Nigeria has now recorded the second coronavirus death after former PPMC Boss Achimugu who died about two weeks ago.
Health Minister, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, announced this on Monday at a press briefing in Abuja.
Ehanire did not give details of the death.
He disclosed that there are 111 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country, adding that majority of them are persons who came in from overseas.
The highest cases, he said, are in Lagos, followed by Abuja because both are the major artery into the country.
Following the development, President Buhari in his first broadcast to the country on Sunday night ordered a total lock down of the country for two weeks beginning 11 pm on Monday.
