BREAKING: RAB Tinubu, Federal Civil Service Commissioner for Lagos, Dies

Tragedy occurred early this morning as a Federal Commissioner in the Federal Civil Service Commission, Alhaji Rafiu Babatunde Tinubu, popularly called RAB Tinubu, is dead.

He was 75. He died in Abuja and his remains are expected to be brought to Lagos today for burial.

Former head of service in Lagos State, RAB represented the state at the Federal Civil Service Commission in Abuja until his death.

He is a cousin to the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Family members, relations and associates of the deceased were still getting to unravel the circumstances of his death this morning and making arrangements to convey his remains to Lagos.

It has emerged, however, that his remains would be buried tomorrow at Okesuna Cemetery after Janaza (burial) prayers at Alausa Central mosque in Alausa, Ikeja.
