The former Senior Special Assistant to the immediate past governor of Osun, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, urged the people of the state to come out en masses and cast their vote for all APC candidates during the March 9 state assembly election.
He noted that with the victory of APC at the federal level Nigerians should expect all round development, as the party was ready to take the country to the next level of greatness.
Also seeking for the support of the people of Ayedire, Ogunkanmi urged the electorate to come out on March 9 and cast their votes for him, promising to give them adequate representation.
Highlighting some of his achievement when he was the Executive Secretary, Ogunkanmi, said, “When I was the caretaker chairman of Ayedire, I did my utmost best by extending electricity to suburbs, tarred roads, launched Ayedire Youth Empowerment Scheme (A-YES), revived agricultural tools for mechanize farming and many others.
“I did my best to protect and promote my family pedigree. With these, I’m not claiming perfection. I pledge to do more through virile legislation to bring government nearer and ensure Ayedire is not left out in dividends sharing.
“As a leader, uneasy lies my head. I may offend people and people do offend me. A true leader must appreciate the power in sorry even if you are right because we need everybody to achieve Ayedire of our dream. Accept my weakness and embrace my strength for better representation and legislation,” he said.
