President Muhammadu Buhari is at present in Benin, Edo State capital on a two-day visit. The president arrived in Benin early on Monday (November 7, 2016).
During the visit, he will inaugurate projects constructed by outgoing Governor Adams Oshiomhole.
The president has visited the newly crowned Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba Eheneden Erediauwa. The Oba enjoined President Buhari to consider setting up a seaport in Benin.
President Buhari commended Governor Oshiomhole for his performance in office and for ensuring the All Progressives Congress (APC) retained the state in the recently-held election.
