The National President, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has advised Christian community to continue praying for the nation’s leaders in other to foster peace, love and unity among the different tribes.
Rev. Samson Supo Ayokunle, the National President, gave the advise at the 12th Oluwadamilare annual prayer meeting held at the First Baptist Church, Ilu Ata quarters, Ilaro in Yewa South Local Government of Ogun State.
Ayokunle stated that through individual prayers Nigeria could be Redeemed.
The CAN President and Chairman Nigeria Baptist Convention, urges Nigerian leaders to embrace peace among themselves, saying that it was the only way restructuring agenda could be achieved.
He said that all Nigerians, both Christians and Muslims societies to use the last month of the year to pray for peace, unity and progress of Nigeria.
Rev. Solomon Jade Olagunade , the Minister in charge of First Baptist Church, Ilaro, appreciated the National President for the anointing service.
He explained that the 2017 prayer meeting was held according to the guide and direction of the holy spirit.
Olagunade said the 12th Oluwadamilare fasting and prayers session had witnessed tremendous achievement.
“The significant and uniqueness of this year programme is the present of Almighty God and present of CAN national president in Ilaro and other anointed men of God that graced the last day of the programme.
Also Mrs Victoria Alabi, the church Secretary and Deacon Kosoluware, the programme coordinators, thanked God for how far he had led them since the beginning of the programme.
