The Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) Woman Leader in Ondo state, Hon. Kemisola Adesanya has urged parents not to be discouraged in doing the best for their wards during this current economy crunch that the country is facing.
According to her, “I will plea with the parents to keep trying in providing for their wards, though the country is economically not friendly but with hope, things will still be better ”
“I as well rejoice with our children on this year children’s day that by God’s grace, they will live long in good health.”
The women leader urged the children to be good ambassadors of their families, states and the country at large.
Hon. Kemisola, in a press statement made available to journalists in Akure, on Thursday said, parents are facing a lot in providing for their wards and urged them to keep trying believing that the country will be better.
She, therefore, advised that more security measures should be put in place by parents to safeguard their wards both in school and at home.
The Ex-Ondo lawmaker, fmr board member of NWFL and CEO CEO Kemisola skill acquisition and empowerment foundation seized the avenue to appeal to Federal Government to allow the committee set up in reviewing the constitution to do the work required in allowing equal representation.
Hon Kemisola concluded that devolution of power from the central to the federating units will assist in moving the nation forward.
“In my candid advice and opinion, I will say that the power vested in the hands of Federal Government is much and should be shared among the states to allow easy governance” she said.
