OKUNADE ADEKUNLE

…to be buried in his hometown

Many shops were locked with key at Oko Oloyun avenue at Igando-Iyana -Iba road on Friday, as many residents mourn the death of Oko Oloyun, Alhaji Fatai Yusuf.

When Western Post visited the area, the street was silent. Approaching a passerby to ask why the whole area was quite and shops remained closed , the young man looked at Western Post reporter

‘Don’t you know what happened to Oko Oloyun, that is why you see that this place is closed and no one has opened their shop.’

The office of Trado-medical practitioner also remained closed with the gateman of the office out of sight, and nothing was going on within the axis.

The late Trado-medical practitioner, Alhaji Fatai Yusuf, is to be buried today (Friday) in his home town, Otu, Oyo state.

Investigation also revealed that his 10years old daughter, Aishat, had a premonition of the death few days ago and told her mum about it.

It was revealed that late Yusuf was to launch the Ondo State branch of his association, PAN, on Sunday

It will be recalled that late Yusuf was assassinated at about 4:30pm on Thursday, on his way at Iseyin Road, Oyo, when he was traveling.
