In compliance with the directive of the Oyo state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde ordering that workers in the employment of the state should stay off work from Friday all offices in the various ministries were closed for operations.
Few essential workers such as journalists covering the governor’s office and security personnel, workers observed the stay at home order.
Recall that governor Seyi Makinde had on Wednesday directed all civil and public servants of the state government to stay at home for two weeks as part of preventive measures to stem the spread of covid:19 in the state.
