… cases hit 232
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 18 total cases of Coronavirus or Covid-19 on Sunday with Kaduna state reporting its first case.
NCDC on Sunday morning reported that 10 new cases of Covid-19 was discovered in Nigeria with six in Lagos, two in FCT and two in Edo.
According to the government diseases control agency, “As at 11:15 am 5th April there are 224 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 27 have been discharged with five deaths”
NCDC in the evening announced that, “Eight new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Nigeria: five in Lagos, two in the FCT and one in Kaduna State
“As at 09:30 pm 5th April there are 232 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 33 have been discharged with five deaths.
“As at 09:30 pm 5th April, there are 232 confirmed cases; 33 discharged and five deaths.”
For a breakdown of cases by state according to NCDC said, Lagos- 120; FCT- 47; Osun- 20; Oyo- 9; Edo- 9; Bauchi- 6; Akwa Ibom- 5; Kaduna- 5; Ogun- 4; Enugu- 2; Ekiti- 2; Rivers-1; Benue- 1; Ondo- 1
