Court In Ondo Remands Alfa Babatunde in Prison Till Feb 5


The founder of Sotitobire Church, Prophet Alfa Babatunde is to spend the next three weeks at the Olokuta correctional service facility pending the hearing of his case at the court.

At the resumed hearing of his case alongside six other church members, chief magistrate, Charity Adeyanju again adjourned sitting till Feb 5, 2020 after director of public prosecution hinted of an application on the case at the state high court.

However, the court premise was full of heavily armed Policemen and as well magistrate Adeyanju sent journalists out the court from covering the case that has continued to attract an unusual crowd and security presence.

The Prophet, Alfa Babatunde who was brought to the court premises amidst security men and members of the church were seen in groups talking and discussing the probable outcome of the case.

Magistrate Charity Adeyanju, said the case would be transferred to the state High Court on February 5, 2020.
