Court Remands Killers Of Fasoranti’s Daughter in Prison


The four suspected killers of pa Fasoranti’s Daughter were on Friday, remanded at the Ọwọ Correctional centre.

The suspects were paraded at the Magistrate court 1, Oke Eda, Akure over the killing of Mrs. Olufunke Opakurin along Ọrẹ – Lagos express road last year July.

The Magistrate, Victoria Bob Manuel ordered that they should be remanded. The suspects are Muhammed Shehu Usman, 26; Adamu Adamu, 60; Awalu Abubakar 25; and Mazaje Lawal, 40 and others who were at large.

The Attorney General, Adekola Olawoye, and John Dada, who represent the state prayed the suspects’ blood sample to be taken so as to ascertain their infections on coronavirus before the next adjournment was granted and done.

The suspects pleaded not guilty to the charges despite no defense counsel

Meanwhile, the court has adjourned the case till the third day of June after they pleaded not guilty before the court when no lawyer appeared for them.
