COVID-19: UK Places New Hurdle on Nigerian Visitors

    In a move to curb the spread of COVID-19, the United Kingdom (UK) government has placed new policy on Nigerian visitors.

    In a message accessed by Western Post on Monday, the UK government said travelers are to pay for two COVID-19 tests online prior to departure.

    According to the message,” Starting from Monday d 15th of February, anybody travelling to the UK is now mandatorily required to pay for two COVID-19 tests online prior to departure.

    “The tests are meant to be taken on day 2 & day 8 after your arrival.

    “This payment is to be done online while filling out your passenger locator form.

    “Note that this is in addition to the test to be done 72hours before your departure.

    “Please cascade to your family and friends so they don’t end being denied travel by d time they get to the airport.”
