Dangote Should Adopt Egbado College As CSR, Says Senator Odebiyi

A senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Tolu Odebiyi has advised Dangote group of company to adopt Egbado College as their own Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

He also urged Lafarge Cement Plc to adopt Comprehensive High School Ayetoro as its CSR as means of giving back to society.

Senator Odebiyi gave the charge at the grand finale of the 3rd Eyinni festival held at Holy Trinity Secondary School, Iboro, Yewa North Local Government in Ogun State.

He explained that Dangote Cement has been a major company partner with the whole Ogun west senatorial district, stressing on the need to take advantage of both cement manufacturing companies in the development of the area.

According to him, “by doing this, it means both companies have emulated banks and other financial institutions that have adopted such strategy towards the development of their immediate communities.”

He said Eyinni Iboro day symbolic Unity, Love and Progress of the land.

He commended His Royal Majesty Oba Daniel Abayomi Salako (Agunloye IV), Aboro of Iboro of kingdom for his vision to come together annually in one accord.

He said, “This festival is a celebration period and it’s an annual festival that will bring all sons and daughters of Iboro and environs together in one spirit.”

He urged the co-sponsored of the festival, MTN Nigeria, Dangote and invited guest to donate generously towards the development of Iboro land.

He expressed his joy and happiness as a Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District and standing as a son of Iboro.

He promised to continue doing the wish of the people across the five local governments that made Ogun west senatorial district.

Also, His Royal Majesty Oba Pst Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle Olu and Paramount Ruler of Yewa Land congratulates the Kabiyesi and the good people’s Iboro for choosing the right, credible and man of high caliber as a monarch.

He advised the Iboro in council to include community name in their festival, instead Eyinni day, it should be Eyinni Iboro or Iboro Eyinni festival.

The royal highness commended Senator Tolu Odebiyi for representing the needs of Yewa Land, thanking others traditional rulers for identifying with Aboro and his people.
