Eid-el-Kabir: Isiaka Urges Unity of Purpose Among Faithfuls

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) gubernatorial aspirant in Ogun State, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka has urged the people to be united in love and prayers at this season when the nation is faced with myraid of socioeconomic challenges.

In a Sallah message released by his media office in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, Isiaka said that it is only when the people become united in prayers and supplication to Almighty Allah that we can receive His benevolence and mercy.

According to him, “No doubt, it is a tough time for us as a nation. The various challenges the  people face has potentials to derail our national aspirations but really, we cannot afford to lose hope. We must stay together, pray and make the right choices.

“We must also imbibe the lessons of Eid-el-Kabir which among other things include love, tolerance, sacrifice, humility, sharing, religious  and peaceful coexitence. Eid-el-Kabir is not only for merrymaking, we must live the lessons from the submission of Prophet Ibrahim and his son Ismail, to the commandment of their creator”.

The two time gubernatorial candidate further highlighted unity as vital ingredient needed by the people to demand good governance and better welfare from the leaders.

He said, “As another general election approaches, the people must beyond prayers and sacrifices, speak with one voice in demanding a better life; which starts with making credible choices to lead. But if the people are not together, insincere persons will creep in again”.

The Eid-el-Kabir message also assured the good people of Ogun State – a life of abundance from 2019 while wishing them happy celebrations.
